Day 23. Rest Day in Burgos

Burgos is such a beautiful city and Dick was so happy to spend a day at the Museo de la Evoluciom.  One of the museum guides Ana  explained  to us the timeline of the Homo sapiens.  She is a PHD student who participates in the dig.  Later in the evening when we had dinner we met another PHD this time a geologist.  She sat next to our dinner table and was in Burgos to begin her new job with the museum.

I wanted to attend the pilgrims mass at the cathedral so left Dick who was staying at the museum until it closed.  It is heartwarming to hear the priest pray for all the peregrinos safety.
