Day 15. Najera to Azofra 6 km.

In Najera we had our own room and bathroom which was again a treat.  For lunch we were daring and tried pigs ears, and  intestines for our tapas lunch choices.  It rained in the evening while we were eating our dinner, always a welcome relief from the heat.  It was also raining in the morning as we got ready to leave.  However, we were moving so slow the rain stopped by the time we got going.

Dicks knee is sore, so today we had a very short 6 km.walk.  Although short, it was not easy as there is always an uphill walk and a beating sun.

We are happy with our Alburgue because every room is only for two people.  It looks like a cell but again it is clean!  It also has a pool to cool off our aching and tired feet.

Dick is always ready to jam with other musicians.  This time with a Ukelele playing Italian who hopes to travel for 2 or 3 years.  He has been enjoying playing his harmonica every chance he gets.
