Day 36. Astorga. Rest day

My knee is not any better so we're are staying in Astorga today.  Dick will walk tomorrow but I will stay put for a few more days or take the train to Sarria.  I want to feel better so I can walk the last 100 km.

We had dinner with Pat and Susan whose knee is also hurting but she walked today.  We have enjoyed meeting up with them in various places.

I was fine with staying at the alburgue while Dick walked, but he decided to stick around.  He didn't like the alburgue bed so we are moving to a hotel.  This is a beautiful town with a nice cathedral and the Archbishops Palace designed by Gaudi.  There are also Roman ruins which Dick loves to check out.
