Today is Halloween, no sign of goblins or jack o lanterns here.
We arrived Saturday, Oct 25 and have had the loveliest times being hosted, entertained and feted and taken sight seeing by Christian and Victor. We have been to the most beautiful beaches on the island and watched several sunsets from a most amazing viewpoint!
It was quite an experience staying with Vctor in a house he is renting from a farmer. The house smells from all the animals nearby, cows, goats, sheep, horses, including his humongous dog Mia and 4 cats. But his hospitality and warmth is unparalleled and we loved his company. He left to go on vacation for a month and so we moved to Hotel Bahia with the most beautiful view of the bay and cliffs. Our room comes with a huge balcony to lounge and enjoy the view. The view is magnificent! It is unbelievable we are staying in such a beautiful cove with incredible colors on the sea and lava rocks on the coast and this great balcony to lounge and put our feet up to enjoy the view.
Christian and his girlfriend, Iris, have taken over showing us around. They too are great fun, so warm and hospitable. Christian too is a great cook, had us over for lunch cooking a tasty zucchini dish and is having us over for. Paella lunch and inviting his friends to meet us.
